Karma was born the first spring that we were in our new home in the Cariboo. As I didn’t have a proper facility for Annie’s impending labor, I converted one of my kennel runs into a cozy horse stall using tarps. It is a tribute to Annie’s character that she accepted the conditions easily and presented her daughter to my waiting arms. Karma and I imprinted strongly after her birth which has resulted in a very social and people orientated (yet polite) mare.
This elegant mare is the most intelligent horse that I’ve ever worked with. She has been a challenge to say the least! At long last, she has become a wonderful pleasure horse. We enjoy exploring the trails outside our fence.
