ARMONY’S PEMA
Born September 27, 2006
OFA# AM12680G31F-VPI ChD# AMCA 13748 Eyes: normal This Little Bit of energy, love, curiosity, intelligence, and delight was the reason I bred Maia to Buddy. She has the best of both parents and I’m delighted with her. Pema promises to be a wonderful beginning for my new breeding program.

Pema was gifted with a special toy from Justin's brother in Michegan. She delights in playing with it when she is my offical "office puppy." She is 7 mo. in these two pictures.
8 months - running >
12 months. December 2007. Pema is fascinated with the TV.
March 2008.17 months. >
Pema, like her momma, is slow to mature. This photo shows a typical expression - and her usual mode - running!
January, 2009 Pema is evolving into quite a strong worker. She certainly has potential for leading a team when she is more experienced. She works with Justin on her right. Seeing the cow moose blow across the trail in front of her just made her speed up - she was going for "dinner!"
February 2009. Pema's fascination with the TV continues. She will watch it for 30 minutes at a time! She has put many noseprints on it when she gets involved with what's being shown.
July2009. Pema was gifted with a couple of latex piggy toys from Germany. She was posing with the grey piggy - so I had to add the pink one to complete the look. When she turned the pink piggy over, it really reminded me of a little girl playing with dolls in preparation for motherhood. Pema had already been bred to Justin when the photos were taken
August 22, 2009 Pema is starting to show her pregnancy.
Fall 2009. Pictures with her son, Nabu. Pema enjoyed her son and was a good momma.
Two days before delivery, Pema looked like she had swallowed a watermelon!
Labor is very tiring - especially when it's all night long. Pema relaxes before pup # 7 is born.
Pema is a devoted momma. The squeaky toy is the one she chooses to carry during first stage labor. She's had it since puppyhood and it is undamaged.
A very proud Pema relaxes while her momma, Maia, babysits the pups when outside.
Pema is a nurturing momma. In addition to nursing her pups, she has clearly been educating the pups with new lessons almost daily. Going for "walk abouts" when the pups were old enough through the rough part of the yard was a daily occurence, playing with them, and teaching them important skills such as digging, navigating stairs (when you're only 5 wks old), and basic manners were some of the lessons.
Nov. 16, 2010. Pema has been enjoying the larger area to run in. She is very athletic.
Pema still enjoys watching T.V. Jan. 2011 Pema & Justin
Molly and Pema prepare for working.
Happy Pema in the pasture
Dec 2012. 6 yr old Pema is finally becoming mature. She is co-leading the new team with Justin (with their daughters working in wheel position) and has never worked better. She is blossoming as a directional leader - and loving the runs. More pics on PackPics16
August 2013 almost 7 yrs
Dec. 2013. Pema is now the senior housegirl. She has become a very trustworthy lady - like her momma Maia.
Dec. 2013. Pema still enjoys playing and working in the snow.
< 8 year old Pema enjoys a good romp with her grandson Oliver
