May 2014. Molly delights in playing with her 11 month old nephew Oliver. These two Canine Einsteins need the opportunities to run and expend lots of energy. Molly's also teaching Oliver more about controlling his behavior - just what a young adolescent male needs!
Winter 2014 - 2015
November 2014, Justin and Molly became the next team to pose for pictures to benefit charitable organizations. This photo  was at a practice session.
This photo was at Gendun Drubpa Buddhist Centre where the dogs very happily posed with our resident teacher, Ven. Tenzin Chogkyi.
A great snowfall, ideal temperatures, good trails was encouraging that we'd have a super sledding year. Bella and Oliver delight in playing in the yard. They started in harness and got two amazing runs in.......before the chinook happened and the snow disappeared.
Until the snow builds up enough to go sledding the dogs have been joining me in the dog room while I do some studying. Molly is quite a supervisor when I'm typing. The others are happy to just relax and have a good sleep in the warmth.
Justin 8 1/2 yrs
Anakin 11 1/2 yrs
Zhouma  13 1/2 yrs   She is still quite active for her age and continues to brings me much joy with her personality.and vitality She has now decided that she enjoys the comforts of a warm house - and wants to sleep inside at night (which she does on really cold nights.)
Finally able to go sledding
I'm running two teams of 3 dogs each pretty much on alternate days. The older team has Justin, Pema, and their daughter Molly. The younger team has Kadence and her two offspring, Bella and Oliver. We made a good start in the beginning of January - but the weather severely limited the number of runs. Candice only ws able to get out three times in total with Ahkila and Kain thanks to work, homelife, and weather.

Older team

Pema (left lead), Justin (right lead) - both 8+ years old
Molly (wheel) 4+ years old

The enthusiasm that these dogs show when getting harnessed up and starting out ends up in a more sedate journey through the trails. We all enjoy the outings, though. We did enjoy 8 runs.

Kadence (left) and Bella wait for Oliver and the sled to join them

Younger Team

Bella (18+ mo. left lead), Kadence (4+ yrs. right lead)
Oliver (18+ mo.wheel)

The similarities and differences between the three Canine Einsteins - and particularly the pups - is fascinating.

Bella (blue harness) and Kadence are very similar in personality with Bella more inclined to be a "Snoopy Snifter" checking out everything.

Oliver, while being totally aware of his environment, provides a sense of stability and strong working ability.

While a very young team (only 9 runs by Jan. 18), they are hard working, fast, and very responsive. We've already increased our length of run to what my fabulous team of four with Geoffrey and Dorje leading used to do.  Kadence adds her experience and stability to her pups while working and at home. They ended up having 14 excellent runs.
