This photo was taken when the pups were hours old. Photos will be added as the little ones grow.
The parents are both proven working dogs - Jake with packing and in harness and Kadence in harness. They both demonstrate that 'form and function' go together - especially when it is combined with wonderful personalities. Both Mountain Home and Inharmony breeders/owners believe in doing all pertinent health checks - including for peripheral neuropathy (both Jake and Kadence have 'homozygous normal' DNA) and in selecting appropriate homes for the special pups from either of these two dogs.
While the whelping box was being tidied the now 3 week old pups had a snack at the 'milk bar.'
Three week old pups nap after their first exposure to a different environment. Personalities are starting to emerge....

Kadence is a loving but strict momma. When the pups are in the outside kennel run, she allows other dogs to meet the pups through the chain link fence.
One kennel run is now a wonderful play pen with toys, objects to explore and move around. Pups move to and from the puppy room inside to the run almost as a group.
Pop Up Puppy... getting big enough to see out of the box. (Better for hollering.)
All of the pups are introduced to a
foundation of learning skills. Being individuals, each pup learns at a different rate and in a different style. Bella, the model for showing early circles and 'show dog,' is quite methodical, like Kadence, in how she learns.

Rosey left a bit early for her new home. She is clearly enjoying the 'good life.'
